COMPUTER CLEANING WEEK 2007

Unlimited Magazine, July 2007

Following on from last year's success, DURABLE UK is delighted to announce and launch the second Computer Cleaning Week® campaign.

From 17-22 September, offices around the country will be gearing up to rid their workspaces of potentially harmful dirt, germs and bacteria such as Ecoli, Salmonella and MRSA which can be found on office technology including keyboards, monitors and phones.

HEADING THIS YEAR'S CAMPAIGN IS WELL KNOWN TV PERSONALITY AND CLEANLINESS, KIM WOODBURN.

Stewart Anderson, VP of Marketing at DURABLE said: "All activity leading up to Computer Cleaning Week® starts now, ensuring that all our distributors have plenty of time to get truly involved in the event . Last year's campaign was a huge success, generating more than 50,000 unique website hits that we felt 2007 was the right year in which to raise the profile of campaign to the next level. With Kim Woodburn as the face of the 2007 campaign, we hope to attract more awareness than ever."

As well as the celebrity endorsement, DURABLE's Computer Cleaning Week® will be supported by a comprehensive trade programme, including a campaign pack, dedicated website, sampling opportunities, promotional incentives, plus a free PR plan. Consumers can register on the website for a FREE information pack which contains a "How to Clean Guide", posters, stickers and goodies such as pens and coasters.

Stewart continued: "This campaign is all about alerting consumers that their hygiene attitudes in the office could be damaging, not just to their health but that of their colleagues too, and we have some fascinating research to support this. Computer Cleaning Week® is designed to raise awareness to customers about these perils but to also offer our trade customers creative marketing support tools to get fully involved in the campaign."
